Mein Lima hatte nach längerer Standzeit Probleme zu starten. Vor 2 Jahren auf der Techno-Classica fragte ich an einem Stand für Vergaser nach diesem Problem. Die Herren erklärten, das liege an den sehr leicht flüchtigen Tensiden in modernen Kraftstoffen. Dieser verdunstet schon durch die Entlüftungsbohrung im Vergaser. Von ihnen kam der Tipp: Bau eine elektrische Benzinpumpe ein.
Aus mehreren Gründen (TÜV-Anforderungen und die Originaltechnik nicht zu viel zu verändern) entschied ich mich für eine Handpumpe. Dazu baute ich unten im Motorraum eine Y-Verteiler ein. Ein Anschluss wurde mit der originalen Benzinleitung verbunden der zweite Anschluss wurde parallel zum Vergaser über ein Rückschlagventil und die Handpumpe verlegt.
My Lima had problems starting after standing for a long time. Two years ago at the Techno-Classica, I asked about this problem at a stand for carburettors. The gentlemen explained that it was due to the very volatile surfactants in modern fuels. This evaporates through the vent hole in the carburettor. They gave me the tip: install an electric petrol pump.
For several reasons (TÜV requirements and not wanting to change the original technology too much), I decided in favour of a hand pump. I installed a Y-distributor at the bottom of the engine compartment. One connection was connected to the original petrol line and the second connection was routed parallel to the carburettor via a non-return valve and the hand pump.
