Die Unterschiede zwischen dem MK1 und MK2 sind meines Ermessens nicht so groß.
Es sind vor allem die Stoßstange, beim MK1 aus Blech vom Austin Maxi und beim MK2 aus Edelstahlrohren.
Das Bodenblech beim MK1 stammt vom Vauxhall Magnum. Beim MK2 wurde es von Panther selbst hergestellt ( zu erkennen am eckigen Tunnel für die Kardanwelle). Außerdem sollen sich noch die Sitze und das Armaturenbrett geändert haben, aber dieses ist bei den meisten sowieso speziell. Meiner mit Baujahr 1/79 scheint Merkmale von beiden Varianten zu haben.
In my opinion, the differences between the MK1 and MK2 are not that great.
The main difference is the bumper, which is made of sheet metal from the Austin Maxi on the MK1 and stainless steel tubing on the MK2.
The floor pan on the MK1 comes from the Vauxhall Magnum. On the MK2 it was made by Panther itself (recognisable by the square tunnel for the propshaft). In addition, the seats and the dashboard are said to have changed, but this is special on most of them anyway. Mine, built in 1/79, seems to have features of both variants.
