Am Motor habe ich nichts überholt. Lediglich habe ich mir eine neue Ansaugbrücke für die zwei Weber-Doppel-Vergaser bei Adrian ( ebay.co.uk – roverland.eu) besorgt. Sie war gebraucht und ein Gewinde versaut. Ich habe es mit J-B Weld zugeklebt neu Gewinde gebohrt(hält schon / Jahre). Nach dem Zusammenbau wollte ich mal sehen wie viel km/h der Lima schafft, kam aber nicht über 170 km/h. Eine Zündkerze war danach hin.
Da der 2,3l Motor von Vauxhall auch beim Opel Bedford Blitz verbaut wurde gibt es auch viele Ersatzteile bei bedfordparts.de
I didn’t overhaul anything on the engine. I only bought a new intake manifold for the two Weber twin carburettors from Adrian ( ebay.co.uk – roverland.eu). It was used and one thread was messed up. I taped it up with J-B Weld and drilled a new thread (has lasted / years). After reassembly, I wanted to see how much km/h the Lima could do, but didn’t get above 170 km/h. One spark plug was broken afterwards.
